Increasing competitive pressure in the market means that service providers such as abat are being faced with new challenges - even in the US. In 2008, abat US LLC was founded in Atlanta. As the center of the reindustrialization of the South in the automotive sector, Atlanta - the capital of the State of Georgia - is an ideal location for meeting the needs of American customers. The many investors in and around Atlanta include numerous renowned manufacturers such as Mercedes, VW, Honda, Kia, and Hyundai. In addition, there are the suppliers and logistics infrastructures of these companies.
As an abat subsidiary, abatUS offers abat's entire range of services to customers throughout America. In particular, the company has further developed fields of competence in line with the requirements of the logistics and automotive sectors. For example, this includes hardware and software expertise on data exchange, security, application management, project management, and process optimization using SAP for the automotive and logistics/warehouse management sectors.
In addition, abat US offers attractive pricing alternatives through offshoring/nearshoring, making use of the resources of subsidiaries in Puebla (Mexico) and Minsk (Belarus). This gives customers more leeway when implementing projects without forcing them to compromise on quality.
