We are an international SAP service and product provider that optimizes business processes and develops them further with our own solutions. For more than 20 years, we have been advising companies in the automotive, logistics, and discrete manufactoring sectors and support our customers on their way through digital transformation. We now have 800+ colleagues worldwide, at different locations in Germany, Mexico, Belarus and the USA.
In teams of between two and forty, you will develop in the SAP systems of our customers. In this process, you implement specifications that have been created by consultants in the team. If necessary, you will develop these specifications together with the customer.
You independently implement necessary developments in the customer system.
You coordinate technical and organizational topics with customers, developers and technicians. You train junior developers on the subject matter and actively participate in the development of your new colleagues.

You have three or more years of working experience in the SAP sector. In the best case, you have experience in manufacturing companies, at automotive manufacturers or -suppliers, or at logistics companies.
You'll bring three years of development experience in one or two of the following technologies:
TS: Internet Transaction Server (template creation and customization)
PO/PI: Process Orchestration / Process Integration
ALE: ALE & IDocs

Location: at the customer location, in the office or remotely from the mobile office
You advise our customers on-site, from one of abat's office locations, or you decide to work remotely. Moving to one of our office locations is not required. Of course you can always visit our offices in Bremen, Munich, Wolfsburg, Walldorf and St. Ingbert to meet with colleagues or to work together on tasks. There is also the possibility to work remotely within an EU country, under certain conditions.
Company car: premium, self-configured - and CO2-free
Speaking of business trips: As a consultant, we offer you a company car. You can choose the brand by yourself from the German manufacturers and abat customers Audi, BMW, Daimler and Volkswagen (and associated brands). You configure your car individually according to your own wishes. And if it should be an orange Beetle - we already had that, too. By the way, we offset the CO2 emissions of our fleet at the end of the year.
Always in contact: in person or digitally
In order to facilitate a good business network despite the physical separation, we organize various team events per year, to support internal communication, to distribute information and to celebrate. The weekly newsletter for business, organisational and private topics gives information and coffee gossip, even if you don't live at one of the office locations. And at least during the Corona pandemic, we inform from the headquarter monthly with a live TV show from our own TV studio.
Your salary: fixed and variable
An attractive salary system and a transparent performance bonus, which reflects your personal success, form the financial reward. The individual salary components are agreed on an individual basis. The objectives of the profit-sharing scheme is transparent for everyone. There is no upper limit on the amount of the variable component, which averages two to three additional monthly salaries. You will receive additional bonuses for winning customer projects or new employees.
Your personal service center
Administrative tasks are - wherever possible - kept away from you, so that you can fully concentrate on the tasks at our customers. Our internal service ensures that travel planning, travel expense accounting, training organization and invoicing take as little time as possible for you. The only administrative tasks expecting from you is the weekly preparation of a timesheet and the sending of expense receipts.

As part of the annual strategy meeting on personal development, we plan the future together. The excellent training and further education opportunities, the seminars specially developed for abat and the availability of an extensive collection of SAP demo and test systems form the basis for this.
