12th International Automotive Industry 4.0 Summit

What are the global trends and challenges in the automotive industry? This was one of the central questions on November 16th and 17th in Shanghai. The 12th International Automotive Industry 4.0 Summit brought together more than 300 managers and experts from the automotive industry to discuss key topics such as the smart factory, digital transformation in automotive manufacturing, decarbonization, big data and analytics. The summit provided a platform to discuss key pain points in daily operations and manufacturing, and to find ways to strengthen digitalization and manufacturing efficiency with appropriate ROI.
The summit was co-hosted by Peter Grendel, member of the abat Group Executive Board and founder of abat+ GmbH. It was an exciting two days, during which we were able to take away many forward-looking ideas.
