The abat E-Invoicing Monitor  

Since January 2025, German companies have been required to be able to receive electronic invoices, and starting in 2027, companies with annual revenue exceeding 800,000 euros must also actively send e-invoices in the B2B sector. Most solutions on the market rely on usage-based licensing models, which place a lasting financial burden on small and medium-sized enterprises in particular. The abat E-Invoicing Monitor is a fully-fledged SAP-native alternative that incurs only one-time implementation costs. It is built on standard SAP modules, integrates seamlessly into existing SD and FI processes, and can be kept up to date via SAP Notes without the need for complex maintenance projects. Unlike the SAP DRC, the Monitor was designed with the business department’s perspective in mind and therefore offers features such as document preview before sending, payment reconciliation information, and a one-click cancellation function. All common domestic and international formats are supported, from XRechnung and ZUGFeRD to country-specific requirements, and for countries with additional reporting requirements to government platforms, the monitor can be flexibly combined with the SAP DRC. Well-known customers such as Deutsches Milchkontor, DHL and Josera are already successfully using the solution.
