Bremen's future in focus: Mayor Bovenschulte and Wirtschaftsjunioren at abat in dialog

On December 17, 2024, a lively exchange with the Wirtschaftsjunioren Bremen – Bremerhaven and the Mayor Dr. Andreas Bovenschulte took place at abat. Olga Winterhoff, member of the management board, welcomed the attendees at the beginning. The focus was on an open dialog about key issues affecting Bremen as a business location. There was a particular focus on the topics of education and housing.

The evening began with a review of the year 2024, providing an opportunity to look back together, analyze the year and look ahead. Under the key question “What would be the headline for this year?”, Mayor Bovenschulte provided insights into the political challenges and personal borderline experiences. He emphasized the importance of dialogues such as this one in order to integrate fresh perspectives from business into politics. The participants took the opportunity to ask questions and bring critical issues to the table. The introduction of the training levy in particular led to lively discussions. Afterwards, many of the evening's topics were discussed in greater depth over snacks and drinks.
