The Munich team started in 2011 with four colleagues and an office in the Munich Technology Center MTZ. After a transitional office, we moved to our office in Unterschleißheim in 2020 –
centrally located near the S-Bahn and the highway to the airport, it is very easy to reach from all directions and with all common means of transportation.
Not only has the office grown, but so has the team: we now have over 30 colleagues who are always happy to come to our office, work together and celebrate. The workplace is freely selectable, so the composition of the office changes regularly. We are at a size where we all know each other well and there is also a very special spirit.
We are growing in such a way that we manage to gradually bring new colleagues along and integrate their knowledge. This way they become an important part of our community and our projects in a short time.
We don't have a rule about home office or percentages of how much time can be spent working at home.
However, personal contact and interaction among colleagues is very important to us. The information shared at the coffee machine, the conversation over lunch, brainstorming over an after-work drink or simply seeing how things are going at the others
and what else we are doing – these are important building blocks for a sense of WE, identification and the abat spirit. The integration of new colleagues also works better in direct, personal interaction. As everywhere else, it's the mix that counts and common sense that is the basis for decision-making.
